Awesome Christmas

Here are some pictures of the great Christmas we had. We spent our morning at our house and spent the afternoon with Dee and Karen and both sides of the family. It was nice to get to know her group better and I felt bad that I forgot the camera. Emilee gave me these scrapbook products. They were purchased in what was called a "Mystery Pack". Emilee described me and my family and the ebay seller "ScissorScraps" picked out what she thought I would like. A+. It is awesome and I cant wait to use these products. Here Em, now you can see what you got me :).

Sorry. I didn't get a good picture of the stickers that are shown in the top right below. I am especially excited about the disney 3-D stickers. Very nice products. Thank you Miss Em.

David on the spring horse from Grampa J. The horse is named Bullseye, after the horse on Toy Story 2. As you can see, the boys love it and so do Jason and I. I hope it wears the kids out.

Good Morning! Merry Christmas!

Our gift to each boy was a building from the movie Cars. David got Luigi's Casa Dela Tires, Nathan and Jeffery got Flow's V-8 Cafe and Ramones Body Shop. At this point, I am not sure who is a bigger Cars fan, us or the kids. Hard to tell.

We still haven't sent out our Christmas letter yet. Please dont be offended or write us off for not receiving one. It just didn't happen yet and I am sorry. Please know that we care about you and value your friendship. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

What happens after reading "The Night Before Christmas"

This is what happened. I let the kids stay up a little bit later last night until 8 p.m. I read them The night before Christmas and put them to bed, then fell asleep on the couch almost immediatly after putting them in there beds. Nathan fell asleep almost immediatly. David, however, didn't. He turned on the lights prohibiting Jeffery from falling asleep. When I woke up at 9 p.m. to the sounds of Jeffy complaining, this is what I found sorta - the dresser falling off the big dresser was this morning. I feel like I am the mother of Denise the Menace X3. Jeffery in his frusteration pulled off the curtain and broke the (cheapo) rod. This is what David had been doing in the meanwhile. The pen was kept hidden from his brothers on the bookshelf so he coud mark off the days on his "Christmas Countdown Calendar". Take a look below.

Also take note of the Nativity scene in the middle with the word Nativity written in there with a baby Jesus or two. Also take note of the coloring on the ceiling. Oh Jason, you have some painting to do.

Believe it or not, there room is the one place this is almost always clean in my house. They sleep in there and that is where they keep there clothing and that is it.

Twas the week before Christmas

And All through the house

Every creature is stirring,

there was even a mouse

The stockings were re-hung by the Chimmney with care

Mom's praying that St. Nicoulas will make it here

The childeren were snuggled all tight in there beds

waiting mom to fall asleep to color there heads

(oh, I forgot to mention that part, David colored his head red, even the inside of his ear)

I could keep going. This was not the only marker incident this week. Jeffery likes to color himself, too and got the wood floor with a sharpie.

Needless to say, I worry about my sanity from time to time and am grafeful for everyone's encouagement and support. The good thing (I guess) about David's mural is that I love it. I think he did a great job. I like being a mom too and am so grafeful I live in the era of cheap and accessable bleach and magic erasers.

I am participating in a scrapbook Autograph book swap on the cricut message board. Each person picks a character they are willing to make a page of, then makes as many pages as the number of people partcipating. In this case, it was 22. Then, after completion, everyone sends their work to one person, she sorts them out and you end up with full album. I did two characters so I will get 2 books full. I am excited to get my pages and am glad my part is done. The pages are 8x8 inches and are cut with the Mickey and Friends cartridge for all shapes except the flowers, which are cut from George. The brads are Spare parts. The Donald pages actually have 3 different ribbons. Some of the pages have a sheer ribbon with white polka dots and 4 of them have a red ribbon with a zig zag on it. Also, some of the daisys have 3 purple flowers and 3 yellow. I have a hard time believing that people will care if there page isn't exactly the same as a different person's book. Sorry people. Anyway, I am thrilled that my huge project is done early so I finish my disney album and worry about Thanksgiving and Christmas. :)

We had a really great time trick or treating. I took the kids around and Jason gave out the candy. I think the kids ate half of thier candy while we were out and had a blast. I cant wait to see everyones pictures!

Here are some pictures that were taken today! I love my boys! David thought it was funny to try to make silly faces in each picture. He has strep throat, but is doing much better today. Jeffery has a big "hurt" on his head from a freak accident in nursery last week and a bruise on his chin from jumping on the bunk bed. I am glad that it was just his chin and not worse. Nathan has taken to calling me "Captain Mommy". :) I think its hilarious.

Pumpkin Patch Saturday

Here is some of our pictures of the pumpkin patch! Thank you to Jason for getting these great pics. The picture of David is of him jumping in a giant pumpkin shaped jumperoo with a jack-o-lantern face. It was new to the pumpkin patch this year, so we were excited to give the kids a chance to play for just long enough to get a couple of pics and for me to want one in my backyard. It was so much fun that as soon as the kids got out, a lady working there then told us it cost $3 a person. oh well. After jumping, we took the kids on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch were we took some more pictures. :)
